Social Security Basics
Many American’s have no idea how Social Security works. They happily pay their tax every pay check and don’t bother with anything else about it until they near retirement age. This causes a mad rush to try to learn everything they need to know about filing and rules concerning their situation. Although the rules for filing do change somewhat frequently it is still important to understand how the system works so that you are not left high and dry when the time comes to file for your benefits.
