Check Your Social Security Knowledge With This Quiz

A recent study of future Social Security beneficiaries revealed that those approaching retirement are surprisingly uninformed about how Social Security, a program which will probably be a major source of their retirement income, actually works. Indeed, in the quiz conducted as part of the study, a paltry 3% of respondents answered all 12 questions correctly, and more than half of respondents got a near failing or failing grade of D or F – a disturbing result considering the importance Social Security will almost certainly play in each person’s “golden years.”   So, how does your knowledge of Social Security compare to those study results? Here’s your chance to find out by taking that same Social Security knowledge quiz yourself at this article by Brian Anderson appearing in the 401K Specialist online magazine. Click here to access the article and the Social Security quiz.
